 Paradox 7...Report Creeps off Page

Was wondering if anyone had run into this problem am printing a report in Paradox
7.0 that is legal & landscape and as each page prints, the report creeps about 1/10
of an inch....so that as each next page is printed, less and less of the report is
printed correctly...mind you this is not the case where the paper or the printer is
creeping the paper, paradox is actually printing incremently off the edge of the
page...while the report in the design/layout fits perfectly on the page with 1/2
margins all the way around and printing to an HPIIISI printer that can take up to
1/3 of an inch all the way around.  This same report printed fine in Paradox 5 so
don't know if there's a bug in Paradox 7 or not in the report printer :(

I am also having the same problem, and I already posted the following message before
reading this one :

Hello,

After upgrading to Paradox 7, I have had some troubles with reports that previously worked
(printed) perfectly. These reports are all in landscape orientation.

What happens, is that the whole printed image begins to "stretch".

The first few pages are fine, and after that any columns on the extreme right start to get
clipped, for longer reports say 30-40 pages, the second column from the right is also
clipped. If I print from page 20 to 40, the first few pages are fine, and then after that
the whole printed image continues to stretch until some pages later the rightmost columns
gets clipped.

I then print the same report to the same printer from a Win 3.1 machine using Paradox 5
without any problems.

(I deleted Paradox 5 on my machine, and I  don't want to re-install it just in case it
overwrites some Paradox 7 settings)

When previewing the report on screen, there is no shift of the image, i.e. if I go to the
last page, and then to the first, everything is in the same position, also I don't get any
"beep" warnings telling me that the image will not fit onto a page.

The printer is a Lexmark 4039 12L plus, using the drivers from the Win 95 CD.
It is connected to a 486DX4-100 running Windows 95 and I haven't had any other printing
problems with this set-up.

I have been told by a long time user of paradox that this same problem occurred in version
4.5.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Anyone from Borland care to comment??

thanks in advance for any help and or suggestions,
Ilan.

I had this problem as well using 5.0 on an NT workstation/HPIVsi combination.
The database server is NTAS. By page 120 of the report, it was worthless.
Because I used a desktop with OS/2 Warp and another with WFWG and
didn't have the creep, I chalked it up to bad drivers in 3.51 Workstation.
I have not been able to replicate the problem, including on that same NT
desktop that now runs 7.0.  I would appreciate any info you may get.

what you might try and do is pin the fields

I'm having the same problem also with Paradox 7. Its driving me
crazy. I've tried all sorts of solutions, but to no avail. Its really
beginning to interfere with my work. Someone at Borland needs to
address this problem, I'm calling tomorrow.

Also I am having problems printing landscape in Win95 with Paradox
5.0.  I have changed ReportPrintOptions and PrinterSetOptions, but
the printers will not change to landscape.  This is happening on
HPLJet IIIsi, 4si, and 5si.  Is it the win95 printer drivers, or is
it paradox?

Any help to either of these problems would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem printing to a Lexmark Optra R. My report is
landscape with two table frames side by side. The table frames grow
larger with each page printed. Preview is OK. Very strange.
