 Another Locking question

We have a small (2 pc) WWG network using Paradox for Windows 3.5. We can share
files across the network and Paradox seems to work OK. The only exception is
when two users try and open a file from the same directory (i.e two different
files in the same directory). If one user is already accessing a file and the
other user tries to open another file in the same directory, the file does not
open and the message "Multiple net files in use - File d:\melon\pdoxusrs.lck"
appears. Accessing different files in different directories is not a problem.
Is there a way to overcome this problem?

Thanks

Gordon

You have answered your own question, actually..
you need to kill off that extra .net file, and
find out who's pathed to it so that it doesn't
happen again.. different .net files will keep
other .net files out of a directory, by design..
