New here and maybe a dumb question about forms and tables

Hello all.  I'm new to this group and newsgroups in general.  I did take
an University Extension full quarter class in Paradox and actually got
a B in the course, but I got by with a lot of luck.  I had troubel with
queries and reports.  I'm working on a small, but complex database.  We
have a programmer in our office who set up this data base on Paradox.
My job will be to organize the information, which I'm familiar with, and
basically do the data entry and eventually create reports.  The
programmer made a form that is pretty simple to do data entry with.  I
input 20 test records.  Then,I went to tables just to look at it for
general information.  And THERE IS NO TABLE IN EXISTENCE.  Isn't this
wrong somehow?  Isn't all information actually stored in the tables?  I
really need some basic feedback here.  Additionally, I would like to
join a Paradox listserver if there is one in existence.  Any help will
be appreciated.
I went to tables just to take a look

Your question is kind of hard to respond to.  If you have the source
form (.fsl) you should be able to figure out what happened.  My guess is
that the table exists but not where you are looking for it.

Susan,

Try looking at the form's data model--it shows where all the form's
tables and queries (if the form is based on a query) are.

Susan..  if you can go into the form and see all of your data then the
data is ok, for sure.  And you are correct.. all data is stored in
tables.. so Al Solter must be right about the situation..  the
table(s) with all your data is somewhere but not where you're looking.
One way to find out where it is, albeit a slightly risky  way, is to
go into the design of the form (right click on the .fsl form name,
choose design).  On the way in to the design screen you may be able to
notice  the name of the associated table or tables.  Otherwise once in
you can click on the data model icon and this will show you the names
of the tables that feed data to the form.  But please be careful and
don't change anything in the form... and don't save it when you exit.
