 Searching Memo Fields
When you place a (formatted) memo field on a form you can perform a search
and replace in the field on display by pressing the right mouse button.  Is
there any way to emulate this in OPal ?

 Searching Memo Fields

Adolf,

I designed a form with a table in the data model and with a
memo field in said table.  I added the following to the memo
field's action event:

view(eventInfo.id())

I then ran the form, right clicked in the memo field,
selected find and replace and go the value: 2593 - I then
opened up a table which lists all the RTL Constants (see
enumRTLConstants in ObjectPAL help), searched for 2593, and
found the constant name is EditTextSearch - so trap for that
or trigger that via:

self.postAction(EditTextSearch)

Regards,

Liz
