A Changeto query will only show Changed.db on completion.   You have to open
Contacts.db yourself to view it, as stated in the manual immediately below the
diagram.

Are you making Company and Phone example elements by pressing F5 first?   They
should appear in red.

A Changeto query will only show Changed.db on completion.   You have to open
Contacts.db yourself to view it, as stated in the manual immediately below the
diagram.

 changeto problem

Help!!
I'm a newbie to paradox 5.0 and am having a problem with the example on
pg 260 & 261
of the User's Guide.  I've done all 5 steps and instead of having the 3
boxes displayed as shown on pg 261, all I have is the first two.  Also
the
second box doesn't have a record in it and nothing was changed when I
check it
later.  I've double checked the info I put in and it matches the
example,
that is:

1. Ahern
2. George
3. company, changeto The Human Gill Dive Shop
4. for simplicity I've didn't do this change.
5. and ran the query.

Also I've tried using only 1. and 2. with checks to make sure the record
exists and its there just like it's supposed to be.

What the heck is going on?  I've tried this in other tables with the
same
results.
