 Pdox 5.0 Network problem

Ever since I upgraded to Paradox for Windows 5.0 (from 1.0) I haven't been able to access tables on the network
("Unable to open table. Not initialized for accessing network files.") I've tried to go in Idapi Configuration to tell it
where the PDOXUSRS.NET file is, but am not able to. No Drivers are listed and when I click on New Driver, nothing
happens.

I've tried reinstalling it several times, but I don't see any point where I tell it where to look for pdoxusrs.net file. I've
tried looking for help on the www, but have been very unsucsessful. I would appreciate any help on this.
Thank you.

Use your IDAPI icon, open the IDAPI cfg manager and  and check the
network file location entry. You'll probally need to set it and save.If
perchance you're using another .cfg file instead of the default
IDAPI,you'll find that file name in your icon's command line setting.

I am going into IDAPI Configuration Utility (c:\office\shared\idapi\idapicfg.exe). When I open to the Drivers page,
no drivers are listed under "Drivers Name:" When I click on "New Driver", nothing happens!! Do you have
any other suggestions? Thanks.

You need to point your IDAPI config to a directory with full
read/write rights, where ALL people using the same tables can register
themselves.

Here's an example:
"SERVER"              (Windows for Workgroups)
C:\PDOXAPPS             (Directory containing all the shared data, and fully
                         shareable with others)

On the client machines, use file manager to share that directory, say
as drive letter P:.  Then, in your Idapi config, enter P: as the
location for your *.net file.  This should take care of your problem.
