Created on Windows, crashing on Mac!
I've created a database system on Windows (FMP 5v3) and it is hosted
on our network on a Windows NT Server.  When I open the db on a Mac it
crashes FMP giving an "error type 1" message.

Does anyone know what might be causing this, as I cannot find out what
might be crashing the program.

Typically, a Type 1 error is associated with a RAM problem. Try allocating
more memory to FileMaker on the mac. Click the FM application icon once,
select File->Get Info->Memory. You can only change the memory allocation
when the application is NOT running. If you already know how to do this,
please don't be offended ;-)

Also, you don't mention what version of FMPro is on the Mac, or what OS.
