Even if you could, which I greatly doubt, the performance would be so
terrible that it would not be worth the effort. FMS is very chatty, and it
cannot bind to more than one NIC. That means you would have to bind both
copies to the same NIC, which would probably overwhelm the controller.
There have been reports of successfull hosting from more than one server,
which ought not to be too difficult, so long as all the files for any one
solution were held on their own box.
But I also think you are begging a larger question-- Is Filemaker the best
platform for your project? It is aimed at the small workgroup,
sub-enterprise department, and it's hard to imagine a scenario that requires
more than 125 files for one solution.
Perhaps you can describe your project a bit.
