Problem with passwords in FM 2.1 and FM 3.0 databases
Hi all,

I am new to this group and I have been left -hung- by a guy who did a few
databases for me and changed the passwords the other day. We are still using
those databases for vital yet simple processes in our office... To cut a
long story short, I guess there must be a way to regain access to that
important data?

Any help will be more than greatly appreciated.

The files use the PC version of FM,

Thanks a lot and best regards,

V

Contact him and tell him your company is going to sue him unless
he tells you the passwords.

Contact FileMaker.  They'll crack the passwords for you under
some circumstances.

Simon.
