Mobile Barcode app

 Mobile Barcode app
I'd like to create a system using a portable barcode reader, such as a
Handspring with a barcode module, in order to track videotapes that have
been printed with barcode labels.  Then using Filemaker Pro 5, track these
tapes into and out of our location using a server version of Fmp.  The
server version is used so the database is available and inputable on a
number of computers.  Are there limitations in the mobile version?  Has
anyone tried building such a database?

What you want is JFile. It's much more advanced than FM Mobile.

See www.jfile.com

and www.fmsync.com, the software used to sync JFile with FileMaker Pro.

Jfile looks great but we need to maintain compatibility with Windows.
