 Writing to repeating Fields
Any insights as to how to copy information in a specific row (not
necessarily the first or the last) of a repeating field?

Try using GetRepetition in your script. I believe you can set the rep in
the Copy step too...in the dialog box to pick the field, there is a
small and easily missed box at the bottom where you set the rep to copy
from. :)

Now if there was only a way to SET that box (variably) in a script... It
would have been nice if FM had given (evil) repeating fields the same sort
of "selected by value of field:" treatment as picking layouts. With (evil)
Repeating Fields, you have to set the repetition while writing your script.
Not much value in the long run.

Ah well, the whole thing should be avoided anyway. God Save The Kinks but
Kill the Repeating Fields.

The following will simulate a variable repetition number in a copy (or
paste) script step.

2 global number fields (A & B)
1 layout with only your EVIL repeating field showing all repetitions
1 script as follows:

        Set field (A,<desired repetition>)
        Set field (B,0)
        Go to EVIL layout
        Loop
                Go to Next Field
                Set field (B,B+1)
                Exit Loop if A=B
        End Loop
Copy or Paste (Select)    DO NOT SPECIFY FIELD
