 Network for 4 pc's
Hello Group,

I have never had more than one application of fmp at a time.  I am doing a
solution for a small firm for administration and job costing.  They have a
server and 3 pc's.  Do I just load a separate copy of fmp5 on each pc and
the server to give them good results? And would I load my solution on the
server for them all to access via their own pc?

thanks
Toni

I work with FM5 install on the server and 3 PC stations, it work fine.

1. you set up on the server all the files of your solution.
2. you install a copy (need new licence for each PC) on every PC with the
network protocol.
3. You start your solution on the Server
4. Now from the station you select OPEN, (don't select the FP5 located on the
server) use the HOST button and select your Solution....

This way when FM crash on a Station...it don't crash the file with it...and
it's the way FM inc want you to work.
