Data Bound Controls and <OT> jobs in the US

**placing hand in air for positions vacant  in the US for semi competent
VB/SQL/Access developer with a chem eng degree and a grad dip in computing :)
**

AND as a relative newcomer to VB6 I found the data bound controls a pain in
the bum!.

I spent considerable time etaching myself how to use the data bound controls,
only to conclude that is far easire to dump them and manually fill a flex
grid.  I can then manipulate a record at a time simply without hitting the
database until I choose, then want to do a bulk update. I was pretty chuffed
with my solution tho I am sure there are better ways to skin that cat.
