I have read and re-read the FileMaker Pro manual several times before
coming to this forum.  Needless to say, I am at a lose on how to
accomplish what I need to get done.  Here is the situation.

I have been tasked with creating a survey that will be posted on our web
site.  Here is what I want to do.  The surfer will select a response from
a list of items, currently I like radio buttons, but a pull down, etc
would be fine.  Currently, I am using radio buttons defined by a value
list.  Simple, one field design.  I have no problem capturing all of the
data.  Where I get lost is, I need to count the total entries for each
value list member.  I've been able to get totals using a subtotal summary
field after sorting the database on the value list field.  Here is my
problem(s):

How do I get all of these subtotals to display in one form that gets sent
back to the surfer? In other words, how do I display the results of the
survey?

Although I am prototyping on a Mac, this will be running on IIS server.
If I understand correctly, any web paged I want served using FileMaker Pro
instant web publishing must reside in the FileMaker Pro web folder. If
there is a way around this without having to use fancy CGI scripting, that
would be great.  Ohterwise, my plan is to have the surferclick a button on
the main web page that will open up the survey form.  This way, I will be
able to keep the survey form in the FM Pro web folder.  Not as elegant as
having the form on the main page, but I guess it will have to suffice.

Thanks for any help.

Steve

In the file that your -FORMAT command in your CDML points to, put in
commands like this whereever you want each field to display:

[FMP-Field: summary1]

where summary1 is the name of your summary field.

I hope this helps.
