I am rather new to Filemaker and was hoping for some help to do the
following:
I want to put a database on the web where you can sign you self on different
courses, but I want the different courses to be closed when they reach X
number of persons. Any suggestions how to do that with Filemaker?

Regards Johs.

This is not too difficult - each course needs a counter that is
incremented by one for ech signup. When the counter = number
of places, then an If statement makes it no longer available.

However, although that sounds nice and straightforward, having
just written a sign up database, it takes a while to get it right.
I spent about 80 hours on the database and associated web pages
(luckily, some one had done the web page design for me - that
would have added to the time...)
