lost link to Picture in FM Developer
Any assistance in understanding why using the developers edition looses
links to
Pictures from FM5?

Every time I transfer the project to another computer for testing via a
CD-ROM several
links are lost. Issues are the wire frame is present and updates based
upon the intended
photo for each record, and... This anomaly occurs repeatedly on some but
not on others.

FM (developer or otherwise) is exzceedingly sensitive abou the path
linking a db to a picture.  I run into this constantly.  You have to make
very sure that the picture files are in the same relationship on both
platforms.  That is, if your db is in a folder with a folder filled with
pictures in the same folder, this structure has to be replicated on the
next machine.  You can still get problems because the top level of the
path is the hard drive name itself.  One workaround would be to make sure
the hard drive volumes in both machines have the same name.

All this is assuming you work on a Mac.

On a related note, I have a picture db with about 5,000 records.  The
images reside in eight separate folders.  Does anybody know a way to
extract the path info from FM?  I'd like to be able to open an FM record
to view the pic, and learn which folder it's in.
