Importing Internet Explorer Favorites Url's into Filemaker
Is there any way I can import Internet Explorer Favorites Urls into
Filemaker. Does Filemaker havethis ability or is there some other software
that convert a Favorites file into a format that Filemaker can import?

You appear to be using Entourage as your newsgroup software,
so I'm going to assume Mac.

There should be a file in System Folder, Preferences, Explorer
called favorites.html

As this is a HTML file, it is not directly importable - you
need to just have the actual URLs, one to a line, not any of the
other HTML stuff, and maybe a tab, then the description:

for instance. Save the file in a text editor as
favorites.tab and use the .tab import filter to import
the data to the the relevant fields in the database.

Follow the the link to: FileMaker 101 Collection, besides all of the good
files has there, check out number 25 called Bookmarks with AppleScript. I
use it and it is excellent.
