 SubSummary Report Help

Filemaker 5, Windows 98

I'm building a summary report to track sales made due to customer hearing a
commercial on the radio. The report is sorted by state and then radio call
sign and lists ...

Call Sign    Total Sales    Cost     City/State

and sums all sales by call sign. However, the cost is a one time fee only
and is not based on the number of sales. I have it listing correctly under
the call sign, but when I do a subtotal by state and then a total at the
bottom it's multiplying the cost by the number of sales. Any suggestions how
to work around this? Each station btw charges a different amount so it looks
like this ..

KABC         774.43        120.00     THISTOWN, AL
KYXZ        1589.98        580.00     ANOTHERTOWN, AL

TOTAL AL    2364.41       3140.00 (instead of 790.00)

Thank you for your time.

 SubSummary Report Help

You can use a sub-summary layout parts for get summary values based on more
fields.
Another way is to create relations based on fields that you want summarize, so
you can create calculated fields as "Sum (relation::field)" and display it into
trailing grangsummary part.
