All right everyone, here's a question for you.

I want to set up a Virtual Private Network for Filemaker between our head
office and a remote office.
I have dsl at both ends, and just set up a router yesterday at the HO.

Any ideas on how to do this for Filemaker???

Hi Jayson,

This really has nothing to do with FileMaker. Other than using tcp/ip for
your network settings and specify host to list the remote databases. The
only thing you need to make sure in your VPN setup is for it to relay port
5003, I think most VPN relay all ports.

Otherwise set up your VPN, connect to the remote site verifying TCP/IP is
working correctly, I would recommend hitting a remote web page. Once this is
done FileMaker should work fine using specify host.
