TIM:
It's not a stupid question at all.

You can only run your Filemaker Pro database on the web if the internet host
is running Filemaker Pro on their server configuration.  Find a Filemaker
Pro ho$ting $ervice, $ign-up, pay, and upload your databa$e.

See digital.forest for more information.

A good primer on the whole issue is "Database Publishing on the Web" by

It may perhaps be a stupid question, but I don't really understand the Filemaker
4 manual: How to put a fm4 database on a web server? Do I need to put there also
the whole Filemaker software? Or do I need to upload only the database itself?
Thank you for help.
