When you click in and out of a portal it always jumps to the top. How do you
modify this behavior, so it stays where you left it?

How do you get rid of the portal line when you print a portal?

Open files. How do you freeze the window when you open all your files at
start-up? The freeze script step works fine when I close files.

You can't it's a problem that will hopefully be addressed in a future
version of the product.  Sorry.

Portals were not designed with printing in mind since the number of
records can extend beyond the number of portal rows. You should, if
possible, try to print from the "many" side of the relationship.  Using
a many to one back to the parent to display the parent data.

You shoudo have a startup script that is set to open in a file with a
freeze screen step and then subscripts to open the other needed files.
Have you tried that?  Is it the related files that are opening before
your script executes?

You can script it: Leaving, set a memo-field = idfield in the portal
when you go back you know wich row you left.

Only by printing without portals. Print in the original file.

I found it the best way to not open more than I needed to start and let the
others come afterwards.
