 Keyboard shortcut question
Hi there,
does anyone know if there is a way of connecting a function key to a script?

I would love to be able to click on, say, F12 to add a new record. Any ideas
anyone? I hate to have to move around the mouse and click on a "Add New
Record" button.

Thanks,
  Tomas

p.s. I know that Ctrl-n adds a new record, but that is hard to press with
one hand and in a hurry.

Hi  Tomas!

OK, so here are some solutions... One, use a Mac, the Command-n are closer than the Crtl-n on the Windows. Two, make the script and make sure that is is defined to Include in Menu, now the Ctrl 1, (Ctrl 2, ... , Ctrl 0) will trigger these scripts. The last option that I know about is a utility that can trigger the F keys but never used it so I can't actually recommend on it.

Good luck,

Andy
