Q: FilemakerScript into another db

 Q: FilemakerScript into another db
Hi,

I am writing FileMakerScripts inside of my test database. After testing
them, I would like to transfer them into my real-world filemaker
database. Is there a way to export/import scripts?

Regards,

Boris Klinker

Steven's right

But there is a plug-in called Autoscript which has some useful scripting
stuff you might like to look at. Try the Filemaker plug-ins site.

*Current* versions of filemaker do not allow importing of scripts from other
filemaker databases. I found the quickest way is to print the scripts and then
re-create them in the real db. Very slow and cumbersome however.

Cheers
Ben

I think I have posted this reply only about a zillion times: It *is*
possible to copy scripts from one database to another, but you need an
external program to do it. Go to: http://www.euronet.nl/users/troi
