Performance monitoring on DB2 ver 6.1

Performance monitoring on DB2 ver 6.1

Has anybody had problems with performance monitoring a database on DB2
versjon 6.1. From Control Center I right-click on a database, chooses
Performance Monitoring - start monitor. And after choosing a monitor ( I
have copied the default monitor and given the new monitor another name),  I
select Show Monitor activity.... BUT: nothing seems to happen ! No data for
the Performance variables can be seen in the Show Monitor window.

Is there something I have to do in orden to see the data ? If I try GET
SNAPSHOT from Command Center I can see data from all of the databases.

BTW: It doesn't matter if the database I try to monitor is on versjon 5.2 or
6.1. I sit on a Windows NT workstastion - the databases is on Windows or
Solaris or AIX. The same problem with all of them.

Performance monitoring on DB2 ver 6.1

Make sure you are attaching to the remote server with either the DAS instance id
or the DB2 instance id.  The GA version used not to give an error message for
this condition but the latest fixpak will.  Look also for messages in
db2diag.log for any other monitoring errors.  If none of this
applies, you should contact service and provide them with a db2trc taken at the
DAS and DB2
instances.
