Force All Applications from a single database
I know that I can force all applications from an instance, but I have
the need to force all applications from just one database in the
instance. Is this possible?

Force All Applications from a single database

If you are using the control center its easier doing it and if that is
v6 admin client still better. Right click on the instance and list the
applications connected. Now you can figure out the connections that are
connected to the database you want to force off and kill each one
individually. V6 admin client has an option 'Connections' which lists
all the applications connected to the database so you can select all
and force them. You can kill each individual connection from the CLP
session using the FORCE APPLICATION [see help for syntax].

If there are any other ways I missed out I too would be interested in
knowing them.

Have fun,
Ramya.
