 DB2 Transactions
We are trying to use Microsoft's MTS to talk to a DB2 5.2 database on AIX
(yes I know it's about to be discontinued<g>) and found out that
transactions do not work with DB2's client.

Does anybody know if I install the DB2 6 client or DB2 7 client if
transactions will work?  For that matter, will a 6 or 7 client talk properly
to a 5.2 database?

Thanks

 DB2 Transactions

MTS is supported with Db2 runtime client V5.2. There have been many
internal/configuration
improvements with V6/V7.

I would suggest you contact DB2 service for help configuring the V5.2 client
as it requires a few manual steps. V6 has eliminated these steps so you can
use MTS with DB2 out of the box.
