 Transfer UDB/NT table to UDB/os390 v6
Hello,

since I am new to this group and DB2 also, I have only simple question.

I have a 15 million rows table on UDBv6/NT that I would like to transfer to
DB2/OS390 (one time only). How should I do it and what are the necessery
steps to achieve this?

Thank you for your answeres,

Daniel

 Transfer UDB/NT table to UDB/os390 v6

Hi,

I think it's better to use DB2 EXPORT/IMPORT utilities for this task.

For example, data can be exported to flat files using the command:

DB2 EXPORT TO exp.dat OF DEL select * from tablename

Then, if you have connection to the host from UDB you can use the DB2 IMPORT
cammand to import the table. Otherwise, you have to move exported data to
the host and import there.

Best regards, Dmitry
