 Programmatically generate tons of SQL???
Hey y'all,

I need to create a program that will generate and execute a ton of SQL
using C or shell script.

I need do to it using STATIC SQL and dynamic SQL.

I'd prefer to do it against the SAMPLE database.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

 Programmatically generate tons of SQL???

db2 -xf ScriptThatGenerates.sql >SQLThatIsGenerated.sql
db2 -xf SQLThatIsGenerated.sql

Above has worked for me.  Works very well.  It is in a shell script.

Hey, thanks for the response.

I have a question, though.  I'm still getting my feet wet with DB2,
could you post or email me an example of what the contents might look
like in the first script?

ScriptThatGenerates.sql

Thanks,

Mike Hanby
