Import/Load SQL3089N Error

 Import/Load SQL3089N Error

I have the following problem:

1)    Export a large table from a DB2 7.1 database to an ixf file on a
Windows 2000 machine

2)    FTP the ixf file to an RS/6000 M80 AIX machine

3)    Try to Import or Load the ixf using either Insert or Replace to a
7.1 database on the M80

4)    I get the following error message

    SQL3089N  A non-D record was found where a D record was expected.

This occurs in the first 2000 rows.  The table has several million rows
and about 3 GB.

Any help would be appreciated--or any suggestions on alternate ways to
move the data.

 Import/Load SQL3089N Error

Steve, maybe an obvious question, but did you transfer in binary mode?
Anyway, if ixf doesn't work for you, you can always try other file
formats, like delimited ascii (DEL), which you'll have to transfer
in ascii mode ;-)

Good luck,
Miro
