UDF error on DB2 7.2 on Linux 7.1

We are porting a UDF from DB2 UDB 5.2 to DB2 UDB 7.2. It ran fine on DB2
7.2 on Windows 2000. But when we tried to execute this UDF on DB2 7.2
for Linux 7.1, it gave following error:

"DBA2191E SQL execution error.

com.ibm.db.DataException: A database manager error occurred. : [IBM][CLI
Driver][DB2/LINUX] SQL4300N  Java support is not installed or properly
configured on this platform.  SQLSTATE=42724

"
We have tried following approaches
1) set jdk11_path database configuration parameter to JDK 1.3
2) installed jdk 1.1.8 and set the above mentioned parameter
3) Checked with default runtime environment

Our pervious application, which is running DB2 5.2 is using JDK 1.3 and
these  Java Applications are running fine and there is no JDBC Problem.

Thanks in advance.

UDF error on DB2 7.2 on Linux 7.1
Have you done a

db2set DB2_USE_JDK12=on

All Java2 shared libs have different names (compared to 1.1.x JDKs) and this
switch tells DB2 what to look for. If it still doesn't run, set diaglevel to
4 and post the db2diag.log
