 Settings in DB2CLI.INI
I'm having trouble setting CURRENTSCHEMA in DB2CLI.INI.  I've tried it
from Windows NT and AIX clients.  Also ensured that DB2CLIINIPATH
points to the directory where the file exists.

It seems to have no affect.  I terminate and restart command line
processor (db2)...connect to a database with this setting...but
"VALUES CURRENT SCHEMA" is still returning my user ID.

What am I doing wrong?

Are you sure the CLP is a CLI app ?

CLP does not use CLI. To use CLI, you need to use DB2BATCH with the CLI
flag. Strange 'gotcha' but that is the way it is. In your CLP scripts
you can use all the set commands to set the values as needed. Or use the
perl DBI which does use the CLI.

Are you testing this from the Command Center? The Command Center runs
across CLI. The CLP does not.

Add a newline after CURRENTSCHEMA=schema name in db2cli.ini. I faced
same problem but somehow I got it working after adding newline.
