 OS/2 FP13 and DB2 1.2 Backup/Restore
With FP13 installed, you can backup a DB2 1.2 database but not recover from
it.  An improper Control.x file is created.  Following an initial byte of
value 139 is the string BKUPJFS instead of BACKUP.  The file is also larger
and has a different format.  The problem goes away when you uninstall FP13.

Have you given any consideration to upgrading your DB2?  Version 1 has been
out of service for many years...
