DB2 EE V7.2 control center DB2CC on REDHAT 7.2 Control Center running SLOW!!! 3-5 minute startup

Hello List,
I'm cross posting this because I'm not sure which list server is for DB2 on
Linux.

I've install DB2 EE on Linux RedHat 7.2 with the default of db2inst1.  When
I login as db2inst1 the startup is fast 30 seconds.
I created a new userid called TROY and changed my bashrc to point to the
/home/db2inst1/sqllib/bin/db2profile to setup my DB2 environment.
I then run DB2CC from the icons created using the new db2icons routine.  And
everything is very slow 3 to 5 minutes to get the initial control center
screen.  The first steps db2fs also has the same problems also db2ic etc.

I then copied the entire /home/db2inst1 directory to /home/troy and logged
in as troy and everything starts fast.

So the 64 MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION is:  What do I need to do to get other non
DB2 instance owner accounts to run as fast as db2inst1 without a complete
copy like I did above?

Thanks for any help.

Troy Coleman
