 Can DB2 CONNECT access DB's on OS/2 DB2 2.1.2

My client machine is Windows 95 with "DB2 Connect" installed, and I
want to
access information stored on an OS/2 Server running DB2 for OS/2 v2.1.2.
Can I do that (if so then how?)

Historically we have used the ODBC driver (DB2CLI.DLL) supplied with DB2 for
Windows 95 to access this information.  Recently "DB2 connect" was
installed
to allow access to DB2 databases on the OS/390 Mainframe.

"DB2 Connect" seems to install its own version of DB2CLI.DLL,
and the "DB2 Connect" Client Configuration Assistant seems to indicate
that it
can access info held on OS/2, Mainframe, AS400, Linux, ...

You can certainly try this (as DB2 Connect contains the run-time client), however,
the DB2 V2.1.2 server is not supported.

It should work if you have Version 5 installed on Windows 95.  DB2 levels higher
than this are not supported talking to Version 2 servers.
