How to reflect changed password to all clients?

DB2 UDB 5.2 on AIX
Windows 95 client using CAE

In our environment, the application runs on each client and use ODBC
to access remote database on AIX.  On each client PC, we hardcoded
the userid and the password in the ODBC settings so that user does not
have to provide this information everytime the application requires
connection to the database.  We use a single userid for all the clients
and this is configured when we go to each branch to implement the
system.  Now, we're thinking of a best and quick way to apply the new
password to all our clients whenever there is a need to change the
password on the server.  We definitely want to avoid going to each
branch and make the changes manually.

Can anyone help us in dealing with this issue?  Or maybe the method
we used is wrong and therefore we need your advice.

Thanks and best regards.

PS. This sounds like the making of a *really* secure system - NOT!
