 LOAD DB2 file VB--> VARCHAR...?

My little problem:
Table DB2  V4:    2 columns:  1) TS timetamp not null with default  and 2)
TEXT varchar (10000) not null
(of course table created with BP32K....)

I want to load (without a cobol program) a VB file (variable and blocked) in
the TEXT coloumn.
(The record VB file begin with 4 byte indicating the length record... and I
wanted of course that this length could be used by the VARCHAR column...
storage economy)
Is-it possible?

Thanks in advance for your responses,
