 Cannot set SCHEMA in db2cli.ini

I've read much about db2cli.ini in old messages (I asked Google). I read
that it should be as follows:

Set DB2CLIINIPATH to the directory where db2cli.ini resides.
Make an entry in db2cli.ini like

[Data base alias]
CURRENTSCHEMA=NEWSCHEMA

I read different meanings whether this should influence db2 command line
processor (CLP, not CLI, invoked by db2).

Here it does nothing in DB2 V5.2 and V7.2.

What am I doing wrong? How to automatically set current schema for all
users using CLP?

Thank you in advance!

Greetings,

 Cannot set SCHEMA in db2cli.ini

I would have to refresh my memory on auth issues but here are my first
thoughts.
(maybe some revoke statements later, i don't exactly remember.)

bind the bind files in /sqllib/bnd/db2clp*.bnd
options Qualifier x Owner x dynamicrules bind

Bind has to be done once per client platform (and fixpack level). (because
package names may/will change)
additional notes : see the db2ubind.lst and the others, see also db2bfd to
extract the package names from bind files, etc.

to be continued... (maybe...)

 Cannot set SCHEMA in db2cli.ini
Forget my post.
Wouldn't be very convenient in most situations.
