If I uninstall 7.2 from my PC and install 8.1 can I administrate remote 7.2 UDB
Hi everybody

I have
Desktop  Windows2000 and UDB personal develeper edition 7.2

and
 2 Windows 2000 servers running UDB 7.2

If I uninstall 7.2 from my PC and install 8.1 can I administrate remote
7.2 servers?

Thank you

Alex

That depends on what you want to do.  I believe you can connect to
the database and issue commands manually (e.g. from the CLP), but
anything that requires an attachment or the admin server will not
work.
