 SHMMAX and No. Of Instances
I've DB2 7.2 EEE db on Solaris.DB2 documentation says that value for
SHMMAX should be set either 90% of available memory or 3.75GB
whichever is less.I assume this is true for one instance. If I've 3
instances of DB2 and one db per instance (all the instances up and
running and all the databases active all the time )on 12 CPU 16 GB
Solaris box then can I increase the value of SHMMAX to 7GB or more.
