 Time limit for Incative Database
Hi Forum,
Is there a way to configure DB2 so that it would terminate an application
that has not accessed the database after a fixed amount of time?

Hi Carlos,

yes the Db2 Tool you are looking for is called Governor
Have a look at the documentation - you need to create a
Governor configuration file (text file) and by specifying
the right rules you can force applications off

Hi Michael,
The governor works very well.  But, how can the log files be flushed
automatically?  I am concerned that the log files for the governor can get
too big.
